To Move Queries or Query Folders

You can move queries or query folders within My Queries, using drag and drop functionality.

If you want to move a data query from within My Queries into Shared Queries, you must promote the query. For more information, see Promoting Queries.

Follow these steps to move a query or query folder.

Open Query Browser.
Locate the query or query folder that you want to move.
Drag and drop the query or query folder into its new location.
A confirmation dialog appears. For example,

Tip: To move a nested query or query folder to the top level, drag and drop the query onto the parent query container name (My Queries or Shared Queries). Note that when you move a query folder, all of its contents move with it.

The query or query folder is moved.
